{"id":10667,"date":"2022-11-29T09:47:39","date_gmt":"2022-11-29T09:47:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aiyon.es\/?p=10667"},"modified":"2022-11-29T09:47:39","modified_gmt":"2022-11-29T09:47:39","slug":"irantzu-sedano-speaker-at-the-national-maritime-law-congress","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aiyon.es\/en\/irantzu-sedano-speaker-at-the-national-maritime-law-congress\/","title":{"rendered":"Irantzu Sedano Speaker at the National Maritime Law Congress"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once again, this year on 17 and 18 November 2022, the National Maritime Law Congress organised by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aedm.es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Spanish Maritime Law Association<\/a>\u00a0was held in Madrid.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AIYON Abogados, in addition to sponsoring the event, has collaborated closely in it, as our colleague <a href=\"https:\/\/aiyon.es\/nuestro-equipo-abogados\/irantzu-sedano-equipo-bilbao-aiyon-abogados\/\">Irantzu Sedano<\/a>\u00a0had the opportunity to be a speaker at the event with her presentation on the guarantees to be provided in requests for places of refuge for ships that are carried out in Spain.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Irantzu and her other three fellow speakers, Neus Le\u00f3n, Carmen Zulueta and Mar\u00eda Fern\u00e1ndez Llamazares, all members of the Young Lawyers Group of the Spanish Maritime Law Association, through their interesting presentations on the personal guarantees to be provided in maritime navigation, provided us with practical and useful information, and helped us to broaden our knowledge on the subject.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In particular, our colleague&#8217;s presentation highlighted the analysis of the real and practical application of the provisions of the regulations applicable in Spain, through the case study of the ship &#8220;Modern Express&#8221; managed in conjunction with the port of Bilbao.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you want more information on the guarantees to be provided in refugee applications made in Spain, we recommend that you read our article <a href=\"https:\/\/aiyon.es\/en\/on-ports-of-refuge\/\">\u201cOn Ports of Refuge\u201d<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Once again, this year on 17 and 18 November 2022, the National Maritime Law Congress organised by the Spanish Maritime Law Association\u00a0was held in Madrid.
