These posts must comply with the minimal legal requirements.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In fact, <a style=\"color: #19c2e0;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.boe.es\/buscar\/doc.php?id=BOE-A-1994-2639\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Annex II of the Order of the Ministry of Health and Consumer Affairs of January 20th 1994<\/a> already provided for some specific conditions but these have been recently modified and extended to ensure better health inspection of food products entering the Community from third countries and which are intended for human consumption, and to adapt them to the norms laid down in the Regulation(EC) N\u00ba 852\/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of April 29th 2004, on the hygiene of foodstuff; the Law 17\/2011, of July 5th, on food security and nutrition assessment; and the General Public Health Act 33\/2011, of October 4th.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, on July 29th 2017, the Spanish Official Bulletin (BOE) published <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boe.es\/boe\/dias\/2017\/07\/29\/pdfs\/BOE-A-2017-9017.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #19c2e0;\">the Resolution of July 10th 2017, of the General Directorate of Public Health, Quality and Innovation<\/strong><\/a>. This Resolution modifies the Annex II of the Order of January 20th 1994 which establishes procedures of health inspections of imported products intended for human consumption and determines the official border inspection posts; <strong>a Resolution which will become effective 15 working days after its publication.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In order to guarantee a high level of consumer protection with regard to food safety at the official border inspection of products imported from non-EU Countries, the list of border inspection posts has been recently updated.
