Rocío López

Rocío holds a Degree in Labour Relations and Human Resources from the University of Seville (2016) and a Degree in Law from the University of Cadiz (2020). She also holds a Masters Degree in Maritime-Port Company Management and Maritime Law from the University of Deusto (2020) and a Masters Degree in Access to the Legal Profession from UNIR (2022).

In June 2022 Rocío successfully passed the final exam of the Masters Degree in Access for the Legal Profession

Rocío was part of the International Public, Procedural and Criminal Law Department at the University of Cadiz (2017-19) as a collaborating student participating in several research projects, especially in procedural matters, thus carrying out her first internship. She has also worked in a company in the maritime-port sector in Algeciras, for the international services coordination department.

Rocío entered the world of Maritime Law at the beginning of 2020 in Bilbao, where she did her first legal internship at a specialized law firm in that city.

In October 2020 she joined AIYON Abogados in its Algeciras office, where she is developing her professional activity in different areas of Maritime Law, Land Transport Law and International Commerce Law, specialising in the management of claims on maritime and land transport contracts, administrative sanctioning procedures to ships, recoveries and maritime insurance matters.
