Irantzu Sedano

Irantzu holds a Law Degree from the University of the Basque Country (2017) and a Masters Degree in Port Companies Management and Maritime Law from the University of Deusto (2018). She also holds a Masters Degree in Logistics and International Trade from EUDE Business School (2019),  a Masters Degree in Financial Consultancy from the University of Deusto (2019) and a Masters Degree in Access to the Legal Profession from UNED (2020). 

She was awarded the Prize for the best final project and Masters Degree record 2019 by the International Propeller Club of the Basque Country, Port of Bilbao. 

In July 2020 Irantzu successfully passed the final exam of the Masters Degree in Access to the Legal Profession. 

Irantzu started her professional career in Bilbao with her first internship at the law firm Basquelaw Abogados, to, only later, enter the world of maritime law in Garrigues Law Firm (Bilbao). After the period of preparation and specialization she had an accredited work experience in the world of finance and management working for a banking institution. 

In October 2019 she joined AIYON Abogados in its Bilbao office where she is being trained developing so her professional activity in the diverse areas of maritime law, land transport and commerce. She specializes in handling of insurance claims handling, revision of insurance policies and recovery claims.
